We are delighted to inform you that ICCQ (Improving Croft and Cowpen Quay) have this month moved their online presence to a section of www.blythtown.net specifically for their residents.  The arangement covers online representation for the community group that has supported the wards since 2004.

ICCQ also releases a quarterly newsletter to residents which will be posted online in PDF format as new issues are released. The latest version can now be downloaded from here - ICCQ bulletin.
The mini site which is now live here - www.blythtown.net/iccq has been built as a repository showcasing all work these volunteers do in the town we all love.  Permanent access can be found via the Community drop down link on the main site navigation bar.

Betty Weallans who works closely with Councillor Kath Nesbitt for ICCQ said "We have supported a range of activities which now belong to local residents, community groups and local organisations such as an Older people’s Forum, a lunch club, a one stop low cost shop, and Street reps. ICCQ has a small office base in Eric Tolhurst Centre and also a presence in Blyth Library in Bridge Street.

ICCQ does not employ staff but is run with volunteers and an adviser on a one day basis so we are really grateful for the support of partner organisations.

Special thanks to Steve Bradley, Widescope and Blythtown.net for enabling us to have a web presence which we hope will keep residents up to date with what’s going on in their neighbourhood. We will post any news and update on our activities on this page."

At BlythTown.net we're excited to have them onboard and will make sure the community of Blyth gets to know all the good work ICCQ and its volunteers do over the coming months.
Onwards and upwards.
