Welcome to the Community View section of the website. This area is dedicated to articles of interest, community information and local topics that are submitted by members of the public or guest writers. It is also the main section dedicated to the Youth Media Group Project.
Sunday 31st January heralds the start of an exciting new community enterprise in Blyth with the launch of the town's very own local radio station, Beach Hut Radio!
Based at The Blyth Community Enterprise Centre, Beach Hut Radio will be broadcasting from it's purpose built studio, 24 hours a day, seven days a week with a mix of programmes, community news, information services and a host of fabulous music shows, all supported and presented by a team of volunteers.
The station can be listened to via their website, www.beachhutradio.com and also via the TuneIn App which can stream the shows to any tablet, smart phone, laptop or desktop PC. Over thee next week or so the station will also be launching it's own dedicated app making it easier to get connected with what's going on in your community!
