Work starts on Blyth Bus Station regeneration
11 February 2013
Work has started in Blyth on the regeneration of the towns Bus Station and Library area, with completion estimated mid-April 2013.
The first area for works will be the bus station. Access to Keel Row, travel centre, surrounding shops etc will be maintained at all times and likewise all roads. However, there will be some disruption within the bus station site and the need to change bus stands, which Arriva will manage and inform passengers.
County council-owned development company the Arch Group unveiled plans to invest £650,000 into the project which aims to make the area easier to access and more attractive to visitors.
